We LOVE Stratford

We wouldn't be who we are without it. If you're looking for something to do between the ceremony and the evening reception or on the Sunday, you shouldn't be short of options, especially if the weather's good (fingers crossed!)

The Oppo

Amy used to work here and it comes highly recommended. Don't worry though, she had nothing to do with the cooking.

Café Rouge

Tony used to work here. Bit more mainstream but he did serve Judi Dench once!

Edward Moon's

Neither of us has worked here but it's quite nice!

The Dirty Duck

One of the oldest pubs in Stratford and popular with theatre-goers. Can take your pint across the road next to the river on a good day.

The Windmill

Another olde worlde pub with great beers, fire etc…
Church Street, Stratford-upon-Avon, CV37 6HB

Cox's Yard

Not the greatest décor but a cracking riverside location.

Shakespeare's Birthplace

For the ultimate Stratford experience, indulge in the most literary of tourist attractions.

Other Shakespeare locations in the Town Centre include:
Nash's House (place of Shakespeare's death) and Hall's Croft (home of Shakespeare's daughter).
Slightly further afield you'll find Anne Hathaway's Cottage, Shottery (once home to Shakespeare's wife) and Mary Arden's House, Wilmcote (home of shakespeare's grandparents)

Bancroft Gardens/River Avon

The river and adjacent parks are probably the highlight of the town and no visit would be complete without a stroll by the river. If it's a nice day you really can't beat it.

Avon Boating

Rowing boats, motor boats, punts, canoes – you name it, they've got it. Straw hats encouraged but optional.

Picture House Cinema

Small, friendly cinema complete with bar! A good option if the weather goes against us.
